Article Abstract
These results confirm selective and marked degenerations of basal ganglia cholinergic and dopaminergic terminals in PSP. Striatal VAChT reduction may provide a unique neurochemical imaging marker for distinction of PSP from other types of b asal ganglia neurodegeneration.
